Situated in the centre of a beautiful tranquille french town in the foothills of the scenic Pyrenees Mountains. This well equipped, recently renovated French house is set on three levels, with a modern Kitchen (comprising: oven, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, microwave and all essentials), separate WC, cosy lounge with wood burner and Courtyard garden on the ground floor... There are two large bedrooms, both with two single beds, one with balcony, and bathroom with shower on the second floor.. and finally on the top floor a large double bedroom with ensuite and bath.

| Quillan boasts an abundance of activities for all the family. There are plenty of sports available, horseriding, kayak, climbing, walking, canoeing, white-water rafting, boules, fishing, cycling to name a few. The local swimming pool open from July to September is just 3 minutes walk away. If you prefer to swim in the meditteranean its an hour in the car to the coast, 1.5hrs to spain or 3.5hrs to Barcelona. |

Quillan has a market on Wednesday and Saturday selling local produce and hand crafted goods. The town has many shops including boulangeries, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, boucheries and a poisonnerie. There are local festivals and carnivals lasting from May until October, wineries by the dozen, many artists and of course much local history with many links to Catharism. Quillan has a Chateau just 10 minutes walk from the house and there are many larger ones to visit the area including Carcassonne castle. Esperaza boasts a dinosaur museum 15 mins away, Sigean an aqua park and safari park (1.5hrs). Mont-bel a majestic mountain lake lies up in the mountains 20 minutes drive away offering tranquility or watersports.

The owners have based the above prices on 2 to 6 persons and could include child's cot + high chair at no extra charge.
